I am installing a new intake/exhaust manifold gasket. I've got Ultra Copper, should I put in on both sides? Gasket is fiber on both sides.

Thanks

I have never used any sort of sealant on the manifold gaskets. Multiple builds and blownb head gaskets on FP car never had any leaks with a dry gasket.
Lots of copper spray on head gasket though.

Copper spray for head gaskets, appropriate torque on the fasteners with dry gaskets for the intake/exhaust. Same experience as Joe. E-Prod, C-Sedan and MANY street (performance Lotus and BMC) mills.

...maybe a film of oil on the intake/exhaust gasket if fiber. With a re-torque after initial heat sink run of the engine. Never had a problem either way.
