I've been looking all over for this stuff...if you guys have any ideas or leads to check I'd appreciate it.

1. Cockpit trim pieces - MkII 1098 side curtain - This is the padded, semi-round trim (vs. flat earlier aluminum) I need the two small "L" shaped pieces that fit between the door and the large "U" shaped rear section. I thought I found some from a guy in NY, but the pieces are too short by about 1/2in. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif (perhaps from a MkIII?)

2. Vacuum advance adjustment nut (moss #163-735) and rachet adjuster (Moss #163-740)
I guess I could buy another dist..but I just need the nut/rachet!
Appreciate any/all ideas. I checked MiniMania, VB, Moss, e-bay (daily!)
Thanks!!

I might have the short pieces of trim in a box of parts. Do you know what size they should be? I suspect that the ones I have are from a MKII sprite. If they are the right size you can have them.

Brian,
That would be great if you have them. I'll measure the ones I have tonight and get back with you. I see you're right here in town!! There's more than one Spridget in Houston!

Thanks!
Devin

What a great excuse for a meet.

Brian,
Measuring the outside radius of the body is ~5-1/4". The trim I have now is ~4-3/4" which leaves a gap.
This wasn't a precision measurement, but it's close.
Thanks..appreciate you looking through your spares.

I found one of them last night and I am %90 sure that I have the other. I have attached some pictures. I can take the same measurement you did to double check the size tonight.

Are these what you need?

Brian

Brian,
Unfortunately, these are the earlier ones. I'm looking for the ones that are padded, semi-round and covered in vinyl. They have a 'track' on the back that the attaching bolts slide into..
The pic is of the piece I bought recently..and re-covered before realizing it was too short.
I do greatly appreciate your efforts and offer though!

Thanks,
Devin
