Hello all, i am finishing up the final touches on my 1974 Spitfire. I can't find a close up photo of the dashboard instument configuration. I'm hoping someone can post a picture or knows of a link. Please help.

This should help

umm... Eric... where is your choke pull handle?

I'm on my 2nd Spit, and even though both are/were 1980's, the choke pull handles were in different locations. The 1st one had (blue) it on the right by where you have your dash plates, and the one I still have (white) has it behind the key, under the speedo.

Thanks a bunch for the pics. They are perfect. The choke and windshield washer knobs were easy to find but the little marker lights were the tough ones.

Pete,
It would be under the small badge at the top left of the right panel. I have an auto choke so I covered up the hole.

I shouldn't admit it, but when I put my dash back together, my gauges seemed to work OK, until I noticed the fuel level going up and the temp going down. After a two year rebuild, I put the gauges back in according to the Haynes manual. The picture was for a right hand drive! The wiring harness dropped the wires behind the gauges.

I've already had fuel gauges where "e" meant enough, and "f" meant finished.

My fuel gauge only moves between 1/2 and 1/4. 1/2 means its full, 1/4 means I got 1 gallon left in that tiny tank of mine. Least it works!
