I got quite irratated the other day when I looked at an invoice for some very small parts, part of which were the o rings that go inbetween the dash and the guages. Long story short, I went to a bearing / seal supplier and I now have ample o rings at about a 100th of the cost. I have seven extra sets (two big, 2 small) so if anyone would like a set, pm me. No charge

2nd, How is the chrome switch panel held tight against the center dashboard panel in a BJ8? Whashers on the switch shafts that are bigger than the holes in the panel?

I think my plate is just held in place by the various switches - the holes in the plate match closely the shape and size of the switch shafts.

The holes in the uphol;stered panel are way larger than the holes in the chrome panel. I am tryinmg to find another steel center panel I have around the house to compRE THE INSTALLED ONE WITH BUT i AM ALMOST SURE THEY HAD THE SAME SIZE HOLES AS THE CURRENT ONE.
