TR2/3/3A Instructions for cleaning & re-lubricating speedometer?

Does anyone have detailed step by step instructions for a TR3 speedometer showing how to open it up, how to clean the interior parts and what chemicals to use for cleaning; and then how to re-lubricate it and what lubricant to use? My 3 month old 96 inch speedo cable twisted off on the OD/Transmission end so I suspect the speedometer is binding. Thanks for the help!!

You can follow my pictures until photobucket takes them back...again!?! Post #55 for rebuilding and calibrating your tach. Post #66 for your speedo. Also, in the article above...DON’T glue weights to your spinner. That’s crazy talk. All it takes to calibrate is a medium strength rare earth magnet.
