In the process of installing a non-original oil pressure gauge that Moss sells. Should I prime the tubing with oil prior to making the final connection? Concerned with an air bubble that will affect the accuracy of the pressure reading.

Showing my ignorance- "olive hose"? There is a ferrule to be inserted over the tubing which is then compressed by a capturing nut.

+1 to Steve's comments. You do not need to bleed the air out of the oil pressure line. Pressure is pressure.
