Installing new engine?

Soon, I hope. to install my 1275 in my Bugeye. The motor mounts are not attached to either the engine or the chassis. What is the best way to proceed? I am thinking that attaching the mounts to the engine should work, but maybe not. A few suggestions will help.

Thank you,
Paul

One on the engine other on the car is the trick as I recall. Somewhere my brain says left one on the car. Hey I've got a 50/50 shot at being correct. But sure on one in car and one on engine. Steering column as I recall or exhaust manifold gets in the way of your hand.

The one by the steering shaft attched to the car. the other one attached to the engine.

Or slot the pedestals and drop it straight in.
