Installing front suspension/brakes - review

Okay, I'm into day 3 of the Week of Tunebuggery. The old front suspension and drum brakes are out. Today's job (once I'm back from a morning of errands) is to clean up some bits and run a few new brake hard lines. Tomorrow's job is to install my rebuilt front end and disc brakes. Here's the procedure as I understand it. Please jump in with any corrections you can see.

1. Install rebuilt shocks

2. Clean tie rods, install new boots and tie rod ends

3. Install freshly painted steering arms (from the old Bugeye drum brake fronts) to the new disc brake A-arms

4. Install A-arm/king pin/spindle assembly onto car

5. Attach tie rod end to steering arm – simply tighten bolt through the steering arm to pull the 2 parts together, making sure that the tie rod jamb nut is on the tie rod before attaching the tie rod end

6. Assemble hubs:
--- 1. Pack bearings with grease
--- 2. Drift inner bearing into place (car side)
--- 3. Drift oil seal into place (car side)
--- 4. Tap in the distance piece (wheel side)
--- 5. Drift in the outer bearing (wheel side)
--- 6. Drift/tap in the studs

7. Install hubs onto spindle

8. Washer, then castellated nut to proper torque on spindle

9. Pop on dust cap

10. Attach brake dust shield

11. Attach brake disc

12. Attach caliper, making sure it’s the correct one for the side (how do I know which side is which?)

13. Attach soft brake line from caliper to hard line on car

14. Install brake pads
 
Make sure bearings are installed correctly. The proper orientation drawing has been posted here multiple times. If you don't have I can send.

Approx 15-15 1/2 turns on the tie rod ends.

Use old wheel bearing race to tap in the wheel bearings.

They can be pushed out fairly easily with a brass drift punch but if NA a nice wide craftsman screwdriver works as well.

45 lbs on wheel bearing nut,
