Installing cam bearings 1275, can I do it?

I am wondering if I can install my cam bearings myself with a hydraulic press fit. I know the manual says they must be reamed with a special tool but is that just 50 year old technology information that is no longer applicable? Aren't the bearings pre sized these days? It'll be a new camshaft installed too.

Thanks.

I have never come across pre-reamed BMC cam bearings that after being pressed in that don't need line boring, but who knows you might be lucky
