Anyone know of any online how-to's?
Can anyone give some advice?
Specifically, how is the cloth attached to the wooden batten that goes over the windscreen?
Also: how is the fabric strip at the front attached?
Please email me at trevor_brady@hotmail.com

Most trimmers today, I'm told, use adhesives with some staples to hold fabrics to wood. However, earlier it was common practice to use trimmer tacks. Usually hammered in a neat pattern. I know from viewing header rails removed from cars. Unfortunately, earlier adhesives dried out. Resulting in the sides and ends curling up. I would call a major trimming shop in your area and ask for advice. You only get one chance to get it right!
