Installing a HS4 on a 76 Midget

I am getting ready to install my HS4 carb on my 76 Midget. Does anyone have a photo of how they did their accelerator/choke cable setup?

Thanks.

Not yet.

I'm busy making a heat shield (from the side of a 'puter, ha!).
I'm thinking of bending the top of the heat shield over about 1", drilling a hole and then using the existing throttle cable linkage (running vertical instead of horizontally). Not sure if it wil work or not.

I've gone back to thinking I can somehow house the choke cable in that hole that is in the carb casting just above the "choke" mechanism.

Cheers

This is my set up for an HIF6.
It's on a "1275". The intake is a MiniMania deal.
Not exactly the same but pretty close.
Hope it helps.

Congrats JP! So... how does it run now?

I'll keep you posted - still not running. It was running great last fall, should be better after the rebuild. However, it is not running yet - no oil in sump, - but the new oil filters should be in this afternoon, so, depending on the weather....
