Has anyone installed a Halda Twinmaster in a BJ8? Is there room between the shifter and the dash if the radio is removed and the blank is used for a bracket for mounting?

No! drdave, I have never seen one installed in a Healey However, they are not that large and I think one could be installed---Keoke

Hey drdave! go take a look at the Aussy car pictures that BigHealey posted on this forum.I swear it looks like they have TwinMasters in their cars.---Keoke

Keoke, you're right. That is a TwinMaster in the Healey and also a Speedpilot. Note the Heuer dash-mounted stopwatches. I am trying to mount the equipment in a way as to not destroy the dash etc.

Yes, Yes, Yes, drdave, I saw them fellas setting in there. Great for rally cars. For mounting I would look at how the radio mounts and emulate its technique with an additional wide U shaped bracket that sets just a bit proud of the console face.Bolts would be replacing the radio shafts. Just a thought---Keoke
