Yup. I pulled the ZS and put on a SU HS-6. I can't really tell if there's any really quantifiable difference in power, but it definitely spools up faster from idle. Plus, the HS-6 makes a really cool sound when I give it some gas; kind of a reverse "ssssssssshhhhhh" or would a sucking "sssshhhhh" be more accurate of a description. At least, that's the sound it makes with the filter on. With the filter off, it sounded closer to a 'whistle'.
I may redo the throttle lever, and the throttle cable bracket. The aluminum stock I used to make them works, but I think it could be much better. I used C-channel stock, and it made some things more complicated than necessary. Now that I've more more thought into it, I think it can do it better using flat stock.
Once I got it all mounted and cables attached, the car started right up with the choke full on. As soon as I let the choke off, the car would stall. The carb was set way too lean to even run without choke; the jet was set flush to the bridge. So naturally, I had to adjust the mixture; about 6 flats richer and it was purring like never before. I also had to fiddle with the throttle return spring. My initial mount point was too off angle to make the throttle return completely. I settled on the return spring setup you see in the pics; that seems to work well for now.
Anyways, here are some Before, during, and after pics...
