Installation of upolstery for BN1

I purchased new leather seats from Heritage Upolstery and trim for my BN1. I also had to buy new metal seat bases from Moss (Kilmartin). The seat kit didn't include material to cover the base. Is it standard to cover the metal base and if so is it done in leather or vinyl? should it be part of the kit? Thanks

Hi Dogs4,
Congratulations on choosing Kilmartin components.
The metal seat bases were covered in vinyl. Leather was used on the facing of the seats and the transmission pad only. All the other surfaces were vinyl trimmed in a material matching the leather.
