TR4/4A Inside Windscreen Capping

So I bought the black plastic/hard vinyl/whatever it is TR6 windscreen capping set that goes on the inside of a freshly painted windscreen. It is four pieces...two sides, one center upper and one center lower. Well, while it's 100 degrees out here in NorCal I'm going to work on this inside my apartment. But my question is...do the middle pieces overlap the side pieces on the upper and lower left and right portions or do the side pieces overlap the center pieces. I can't seem to see it in any of my old pictures. I hope that question makes sense. Thanks.

I am not familiar with the TR6 set up ---But on the TR4 vinyl upholstery which is glued on it is vertical first followed by the horizontal strips.

That's what I needed to know! Only reason I mentioned TR6, is they don't sell the set for the TR4 but since the windshields are the same you can use the TR6's. This is going on my TR4. Thanks!

Gary,
Glad to help. I suspect that I made my own using the old ones for the pattern. I also recall checking which piece went on first.

Charlie's got it - but in case it helps, here are some photos of the corner details on my TR4 with its original trim (lower right, upper left, upper right and lower left):

Excellent pictures! Thank you. Funny to see that even on the original that the top right comes in further than the top left so they aren't even. But this is a perfect reference to see how far to cut the trim if need be.
