Not that I needed any additional challenges, but the interior driver's side door handle broke this morning. So here's my question: How do I get the old one out? Anybody know any tricks?

And does anybody know why this program rotates my pictures? Thanks!

It has been a few years since I worked with the late door handles. From memory, there are two clips you have to undo to release the lock actuator rods. You should see the clips. Push them "off" the horizontal rods, then pull the rod out of the hole down the middle of the clips. After that I don't remember any other tricky steps to remove the inside handle.

The clips should look something like those shown in the link below.

Also see the exploded door diagram (from Rimmer Bros.) in the link below.

I've seen those clips on my door. I thought they might be what I needed to do, but I just wasn't sure, and I didn't want to "undo" anything I'd regret later. Thank you! And have a Merry Anything You Want It To Be!
