TR6 Inside diameter for TR6 rear brake drums

Another question. Previous owner informed me one rear drum was over machined for inside diameter.
I have spotted some used ones that measure 9.042 and 9.048 inches. What is the max inside diameter drums can be machined to?

Some drums have the max ID stamped on the lip. I'm not sure about the TR6 drums. Have you considered new drums? Maybe even finned aluminum?
 
I looked through my manuals and didn't find anything regarding minimum thickness, just says drum diamter 9 inches

.04 inches is pretty small so you are probably ok
 
Thanks, I finally found the drum I.D. in the manual and it says 9". So .04 over is minimum wear to me. Should be able to do a clean up turn without any problems.
Got to watch the budget, but safety first.

I had an opportunity to remove the rear wheels of my 73 TR6. Cast into the drum was the statement that the maximum drum diameter is 9.04 inches....

Well thats not good news. I was wanting to use those used drums. That means that the drums can only wear slightly over 1/32nd of an inch in diameter. Man that's not much is it.
Bummer. New drums I guess now.

More info, or how not to do things.
Both local brake shops have a listing that says for 1975 (only listing for Triumph TR6) a 9.050 drum is throw away. One of mine is 9.028 and one is 9.090. PO was right, one is oversized.
The drums state that max diameter is 9.040 with minimum brake lining of .060.
Anyone know what new drums are for inside diameter?
