While under the car pulling the driveshaft I noticed the tires on the front are wearing a lot on the inside edge of the tire. Outside looks fine. She's got way too much camber on both sides, and I suspect it's because the suspension components are worn.

I think I'm going to close the garage door now. It's just getting more depressing.
 
Collapsed rubber bushings... time for a front-end refresh. It's been covered on a number of threads... Not very difficult for the average home mechanic. Parts can be a little $$ if you end up needing a kingpin kit (likely) and/or A-arms (can be rebuilt, see Peter C.) and/or front shocks (ditto).
 
Absolutely, that'll get rid of the wheel tilt. :smile:

What I meant was... when it all comes apart, the condition of the parts I mentioned (A-arms, kingpin assy, shocks) can lead to a serious case of "while I'm in here..." :wink:
 
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I know those components are probably worn, and if you're going to pull it all apart, there's a lot of "might as wells." Do it once, and do it right if you can. That's the lesson I'm learning the hard way on this car.
