Nice to know most of that can be bought over the counter but I'm not sure I'd like the price tag!

Speedway motors is just down the road from me. I may have to enquire of folks I know there.

Only thing I see I donl;t like so far is how the coilover mounts on the bottom. I'd have put that on the top side of the A arm.

Yeah, but they're bolted in. I think what Kellysguy is referring to is that in this setup you are depending on the strength and integrity of the welds. If the welds were on top, it wouldn't be so critical. JMHO. :thumbsup:

I'm assuming they were welded by a professional. I don't see an issue with the design if it was manufactured properly. It is a double shear design top and bottom.

I agree that it would have been better on top but im sure the reason it was done that way was because of packaging issues. coil overs aren't an easy fit in such a small car using off the shelf parts. that being said there is reinforcements welded between the bottom shock mount and bottom a arm. looks to me to be all tig welded and done better than i could ever dream of doing myself.
