inlet manifold

Hi

I’ve posted this in all the forums regardless of the car, as I’m hoping someone somewhere may have tucked away in their shed or garage, an inlet manifold to couple a Weber 48ida carburettor to an A-series engine, (for a Mini) Or you know of someone who might have one. These are incredibly hard to get hold of, and when they do come up for sale, it’s with a carburettor as well. I only need the inlet manifold though.

I’ve tried all the mini shops I know, and just about every other car spares shop, and still no luck.

Thanks for taking the time to read this

Got rid of one with the bugeye a few years ago.

We ran it on a 1098 for a while. Carb was nearly as big as the motor! Sill have pics on the garage wall of the fresh engine before installation.

All the best in your search. What you mentioned brought back great memories of my son, then 16, and I working on his inherited Bugeye.

All the best.
