I'm looking to get a infrared thermometer. I see Sears has a couple for between 50n and 80 dollars. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

I bought one at Harbor Freight awhile bach on sale for $30, they usually go for $50. Now, it's not a $500 instrument, but it gives a 2% + or - reading up to 600 degrees. Works great to find overheating / radiator problems and to compare exhaust port temps with rough running problems. Wish I had one 20 years ago.

It's also at Geeks.com for $40. search for "st630" on that site. It's the gun's part number. It's the same gun I have.
