FWIW, HF has a $10 model:
https://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?category=&q=thermometer

Also worth noting that the quoted accuracy figures do not include the effects of emissivity, which can cause the reading to vary widely. It's still a valuable tool, you just have to keep it's limitations in mind while using it.

To be fair in the comparison this is the HF unit to compare with the one on sale at New Egg - https://www.harborfreight.com/non-contact-laser-thermometer-96451.html

Probably the exact same Chinese mfg!

I think we're insulted, Bro. :jester:

Doc, it's amazing. I can trim my ears in the morning and by the next morning they're back. I swear I can see them moving - kinda like kudzu!

Little late for a comb over.
Mick looks debonair

Mickey,

I somehow pictured you as.................

..taller.

I think you can get a hair trimmer for just a a buck or two - if you want one. Not sure what the cut/pull ratio is, though.

The cheap ones we have don’t do a bad job of cutting instead of pulling.

All the trimmers I’ve seen are for cutting ear hair. I’m not sure what you are using to trim your ears and not sure I want to know. :jester:

At 20 bucks,it's short money and if the nose hair is getting caught in your teeth,it's an added bonus for your friends. One thing to consider- Tools are universally used on all cars. Not just LBCs. 689 drgrees{high scale] is not high enough for proper testing of a catylic converter. A digital temp gauge that goes to 1000 deg.is better for universal automotive use.If it's not an issue-go for it.Both can be used to make the cat and airline pilots flip out with the lazer pointer.
