I finally got around to ordering a fuel pump inertia switch. Where is the best place to mount it in my '73 TR6?
Firewall? Fender? Someplace else?
 
Don’t have a pic but when I bought my 6 a few years ago it had a Facet pump below the tank and an inertia switch up on the firewall pretty close to the brake master. It was a tidy location for wiring - I went back to mechanical but saved the bits just in case
 
I don't know which switch you are using, but it seems inevitable that it must be straight up, but beyond that, it doesn't really matter.

I just mounted mine on the inside fender, next to the fuse box. I'm currently (heh, heh) wiring the car, so the wiring is a little messy right now.

On my TR4a I mounted it on the upper left inner footwell, just behind the bottom edge of the dash. We have a lot of potholes here after winter tears up the roads. This way if impact with one trips the shutoff, I can easily reach down and reset it.
