Inertia, Ennui

Tom....where the dickens you been? Seem rather
quiet lately.

Jeff: It's about that car hood. Just look at that
baby! Those lines are, well, fine...very fine.
She's pretty and begging for more attention.

By the way, Tom. I like your car and the pic
you post as well.

Wonder if I'm gonna end up like these guys...you know
who I mean....that end up with a list of cars owned
and they all look great!

Wouldn't that be nice? You know, it's all I can do
to work on the one I got. It's enough, it's enough.

Jeff:

Don't know if you need another set of hands but Highland isn't that far away from me.

Besides, I'm ALWAYS better at working on someone elses projects instead of my own!

Matt

Matt, I need a swift kick in the pants more than another pair of hands! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Where are you at?
Jeff

Jeff,

Sign this,& return it to me.

- Doug

I Jeff will give my GT6 to Doug,if it's not completed by April 1,2008.This vehicle will then be delivered -
all expenses paid,to Eureka,California.

Signed ..........

Belleville ... right next to Ypsilanti (for those who don't know)

I'm probably not good at motivating people on car projects as I have the following on my plate:

1. Clutch in the TR6

2. Engine / Trans back in the TR4

My goal is to have at least ONE (preferably both) of these projects complete by the 2008 Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix in July. Its not the same if you don't drive an LBC to that event.

Matt

Doug, I may be crazy, but I ain't stooopid! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
Besides, there's still snow on the ground here on April 1st.
I'd have to put snow tires on it.
Or chains.
Jeff

Matt, don't forget the big TR shindig in Ypsi in August. I may be able to make that, if I try hard. Or I can just plaster TR stickers all over the Midget, and drive that.
Jeff

Jeff -

You finish the GT6 and show up in Ypsi, and dinner's on me. You can even pick the McDonald's!

Jeff:

Next August I'll look for a beautiful white '67 GT6 and you look for a ratty red and silver '62 TR4.

Good luck with your project.

Matt

Mickey, any place I pick will have an extensive wine list. Hmm. Probably not in Ypsi though!
I'll sincerely try to finish the thing by then, or at least get it fully driveable.

Matt, if I need a hand, I'll holler. Even if I can just drive it there, that'll be a major accomplishment. I think once I actually get started on it once more, I'll get geeked all over again.

Hmmm... McReisling? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif - I think the marketing folks at MickeyD's need to be paying attention here! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif
