Hi. Stripping down my indicator / horn switch to refurb it and I have manage to lose the white nylon plunger. It has a small spring behind it. On the SC website they call it a operating piston.

Can anybody help?

Got a picture or link? I've torn down trafficators for 4- and 6-cyl cars and don't recall any white nylon parts (doesn't mean there aren't any ;)

Wow! ÂŁ114 for that?! I didn't recall it because I don't recall taking it out. Anyway, you might try Curtis Arndt, who restores trafficators as a hobby:

cnaarndt@gmail.com

Mention Healey Trafficator in the subject line so he doesn't think it's spam, and you can tell him I referred you to him.

If you haven't already seen the attached technical page from Healey6.com, it is a very helpful detailed 'how to' on rebuilding trafficators.

Great photos of all the bits involved, and may help you see what it is that you are missing. I also don't remember any white nylon parts so not sure what you are missing.

Seems incredibly expensive but in any case I'll second Bob's suggestion that you contact Curt. I sent him my trafficator for a resto and he did a great job on it.

Contact Curt Arndt in AZ--he refinishes trafficators and probably has the part you seek.
