I saw a magazine and it had a special feature on Elkhart lake, WI and the racing that has went on there over the last 60 years. I was not aware of all that, but I recognized the name and I hope to be there next summer. I cannot for the life of me remember them name of the magazine. It was a sports car mag is all I remember. My wife works at a book store and I was waiting to talk to her and it caught my eye.

I have been to Elkhart Lake for the vintage races 3 or 4 times.
One of the best parts of next year's 50th meet is that we will be allowed to drive the race track (Road America) at speed with our cars.
The autocross course is a cart racing course with banked curves.
If you like to drive, you WILL be there!

Yep, Road America, one of the US's best and most historic road courses, it's where the SCCA runoffs are now, it would have been a grand idea for someone to shedule the 50th for the Midget during a vintage racing weekend, can't imagine traveling to that area without seeing some racing. Oh well.
