"Define: STELLATED SUDO-RHOMBICUBOCTAHEDRON."

As the students had all been seated and the teacher walked into the room full of gobsmacked kids, he burst into laughter...

There is one serious flaw in his argument. I'll leave it to the readers to find it.
 
In an advanced calculus course, the prof started the first day with "Remember in all those earlier courses the statement 'It can easily be shown'. Well this is where we find out it really wasn't that easy after all."
