Guess who turned 70 today?

Saw her on Fox and Friends recently and she revealed that she is related (on her mother's side) to John Quincy Adams. I was at "just the right age" (nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more) when she appeared in "One Million Years B.C."
 
That's just wrong.

How can <span style="font-style: italic">Raquel Welch </span>be <span style="text-decoration: underline">that</span> old.....unless <span style="text-decoration: underline">I'm</span> old too? :shocked:
 
I worked with her father in about 1958, the year she was "Fairest of the Fair" at the San Diego County Fair. I tried to get him to fix me up but it didn't work. She was Raquel Tejada then. Her father was a structural analysis engineer and very proud of his daughter.

On her side, the genes are favorable. Her daughter, when she was a teenager, came up to the lodge my old man had in the San Bernardino Mountains.. At that time she was only 14-15 or so.. Gorgeous.., no makeup, just flawless bone structure, posture, poise, skin... Gorgeous... She could have won ANY and every beauty contest she wanted to enter..
