Go out and get this month's Automobile magazine...there's a great article on Bob Tullius and the Group 44 TR6 and TR8. Lots of really fantastic close-up pictures.
 
There is also a nice article in the May 2005 issue of Classic Motorsports... as a matter of fact, the Group 44 TR6 is on the cover... Dynasty Defined!!!

Amazing amount of reliable HP from the six. Loved the way they described the sound of the engine. I thought it was interesting that the rear axles were Mercedes , corvair hubs & the trailing arms were modified to accept the wider tires.
 
Group 44 were a bunch of amazing guys. I watched Bob Tullius at Road Atlanta and he looked like it was a Sunday afternoon drive. At Charlotte he wrecked the Jag and had to put a new front end on, at the end of the race he took the pieces of the old front end and was signing and giving them to the workers. Got Mine!! What a nice guy. Wayne
 
I always liked the TR-250 article that featured Tullius and the Group 44 TR-250. If I remember correctly, it read something like:

This is the car that beat the Corvette, that beat the Mustang that beat the Camaro, that beat the Jaguar that beat the other Corvette...
