Improved Instrument Lighting

Hi Guys,

John, a while ago I did the same and fund the 2.2v original bulbs to be acceptable, not great, but much better as you mentioned.

Today, however, I very infrequently drive my Healey (or for that matter my family car) at night due to the strong headlight low beams of oncoming SUVs. The low beam setting of headlights on newer cars are quite strong and depend on a sharp closer cut-off of the beam but, for low oncoming sports and family cars, an oncoming SUV can be blinding … especially if they are coming over the crown of a hill or bump.

Although I have tried the earlier LEDs and saw no great benefit, I found I personally prefered the warmer light of the incandescent bulbs.

Just my opinion,
Ray(64BJ8P1)
