The fall 2012 edition of Moss Motoring magazine will have the first in a series of articles about engine rebuilding written by your's truely. it will cover how to properly disassemble and inspect your engine during tear down, a often overlooked part of the process. thought I would give you all a heads up for you that may be interested.

I get the Moss magazine, and there's usually good articles and usable info in it. I'll be looking forward to your articles Hap. :driving:

This winter if i have the time, I may start disassembling my spare TR6 engine. It runs, but it burns oil and is a bit worn out. Been keeping it around as a spare, but it might be nice to disassemble and learn more about the straight 6.
 
Nicely done.
I always thought it was harder to take something apart than put it back together -unless, while taking it apart you considered never having it go back together.
