I didn't think it was possible but I actually enjoyed hitting the freeway and going in a strait line. Decided to try something new today and headed up to Mt Baldy. Started out from Azusa up 39 to east fork road and then the fun began. God only knows how many turns there was but there were tons of them and they were tight. 2nd and 3rd gear kinda road with major tire squealing at 25mph and I don't think I ever got past 40mph. Lots of skid marks heading off the road from people going to fast.

This went on for quite a while and I was having so much fun I at missed the turn to baldy and ended up on Glendora mountain road and ended up in Glendora. Turned back around and it was even more fun going the other direction. Got back on track and followed Glendora ridge road over and man what a blast. Nothing but curves.

Finally hit Mt. Baldy road and headed up to the ski lifts. Very steep road and had some very very tight curves on it. Hit the top turned around had lunch at one of the restaurants just south of the ski lifts and headed back towards the 210 on Mt Baldy. Ran into one of those mobile smog sniffers while getting back on the 210 so I hope I don't get a nasty gram in a few weeks.

Nice!

Stewart,

I haven't seen your car yet. Are you a member of SCMGC? The Southern California MG Club has members that live up that way and we are distributed from Orange county to Palmdale with lots of us in the SFV.

We are pretty kickback and have fun activities almost every month. Membership is about 95 right now with 14 cars making it to the MG2007.

If you are interested, let me know!

Pool party is this Saturday!

Adam

P.S. How did you post pics directly in the post?

I'm not a member at the moment. I am generally away from socal for the majority of the year so I've never been around when they have had event's. When I come back on a more permanent basis that will change.

The photos are hosted on my webpage and I link them into the post from there.
