I'm speechless

Well, the man had a vision.
Not shared by many, but he definitely had a vision.
Guess this is what "making it your own" is all about.
I would guess it's going to be difficult to find someone else who shares his vision.

"with unusual coachbuilt body add-ons"... UNUSUAL ??? UNUSUAL ??? - Wow ! understatement of the century ;-)

If Ford made a two seat Edsel...................... Or Pontiac a mini 69 Gran Prix.....

There's just no explaining taste.

Maybe that crap is bolt on. Hood/snout looks like a separate part. If the rest is OK and the silly stuff is removable, maybe someone could make a fair deal and then kick the crap off onto his driveway and haul ass.

"Rotisserie restored" = roasted over a spit in style heck?

That's to be used in the sequel of "The Green Hornet" if the economy tanks. You gotta make cuts backs somewhere...

OK, I don't love it but, I have to say it is much more sympathetic than the two Excalibur type cars we were discussing recently, at least there is a sense of proportion and I actually don't mind the front end.

Careful, I still respect you..... :nonono:

I'm with JP. The spare bump has to go but I know JP is a Contenential kinda guy.

I imagine it is like that old saying: If you stand next to someone unfortunate looking, you look a lot better. You could look like Brad Pitt driving that car. JIm

It'd look right at home in th' Wallmart parking lot... :smirk:

I'm actually okay with this one...unlike the neoclassic tragedies we've seen recently, this one is growing on me. I think I can see where the artist was going.

Like JP said, the guy was sympathetic to the lines of the car, using rather than obscuring them.

Call me nuts, but I could see this as a concept for MOWOG doing a lil' luxury Wolseley version of the Midget!

I have a dirty little secret: I've thought about doing a "what-if" Wolseleyization to my Midget. Nothing as extreme as this, more of a rebadging and some subtle trim changes a la the Mini/Hornet.

I can see some Facel Vega in the nose...

And perhaps just a touch of a 3/8-scale Gaylord...

The "Turnpike Cruiser" top is a little fussy for me. Unless the rear window actually comes out, of course. He could've done without the formal opera window.

And who hasn't thought about a rear-mounted spare, really? This seems like a decent solution to get more luggage space.

Just for the record, I haven't thought of a rear mounted spare.
