Hey, nobody considered you dumb - just a little inexperienced...biggest lesson of this whole thread, I think, is focusing on where the problem could come from.

All of us are inexperienced in something.
I think I remember seeing somewhere a thread on the two types of 1500 fuel pumps. Not having one myself, it's just superfluous knowledge.
