I'm looking for a complete rear axle housing

I'm looking for a complete rear axle housing, (hub to hub) from an AH Sprite/MG Midget with later brake setup and 3.9 diff. Preferably, one that can be found on the west coast (to minimize shipping costs), but let me know what you have. I don't really need the housing, but want the later axles, all the brake stuff and 3.9 diff.

Helping out a friend in NorCal, so any help appreciated. NFI

Thanks!

Gerard,
There was a guy in the Sacramento area on Craigslist a couple of months ago that was selling a wire wheel rear end. I don't have his info any longer but I think we were at about $150 but I didn't pull the trigger. He might still have it.

Not much help, but I have a spare bugeye rear end

I believe I've got every thing but long distance shipping. Wire wheel or disc--pile of parts here.

Kurt.

Thanks everybody!... I forgot to mention an important factor... it must be steel wheel.

Kurt, email me off list with what you have and prices and let's see if we can make the shipping work. Without the actual housing, shipping shouldn't be too bad.

Gerard, it appears I spoke too soon. Sorry! The only 3.9/1 I have is pretty loose. I have a bunch of wire wheel stuff I could part with but only a couple of disc axles and at least one car I want to change over to disc's. I'm sure you know that if your friend is changing from wires to disc's he will want the whole rear axle since they are different. Could part with rear brake stuff If you need it.

Kurt.

Thanks Kurt,

I think I have located a complete set on the west coast, so he may be set already.

I appreciate the update and the offer and will let you know. You are the second closest geographically!
