IMG_0011.jpgJust rescued a 1960 TR from an older gentleman who had started a budget restoration 12 years ago and quit buying parts in 2008. I'll attach a picture for reference, but let's just say it's had some good work done and in my eyes, some criminal, involving a little fiberglass cloth and a lot of bondo. But it's powder blue and the engine turns over, so that's good. And when it is done, it will be beautiful and I will love driving the (don't know if you guys swear!) out of it!!

Get ready for a lot of newbie questions. promise I will search before asking

You will find the Triumph section very active and you are sure to get plenty of tips, help and advice there.

Sounds like you have as similar car to mine, I had primer in the boot but I noticed that light would shine through in spots. The same along the kick panels. All that got removed and replaced with metal.

The pub is an area where almost anything comes up for discussion.
