I just traded in the trusty RAV4, for one of these, and have not yet told the wife.....

It's a 2003, 34k miles and full package. Comes complete with an MB Certified Pre-Owned warranty.
4-cyl, 1.8 supercharged, gobs of torque and awesome stopping power. I gave it a mans test drive.
When I tell the wife tonight, it will remain to be seen if I am still a man or not......
I was | ~this~ | close to buying an 08 Opel Astra as well.....

If you need to hide it for a couple of years - like across the border in a safe place where no one will find it....

Hello - Barry....oh, Barry....are you there?

Hope you survive, Barry... good luck breaking the news to the wife. Nice looking chariot!

HooBoi...

Many a true word is spoken in jest. (Chaucer, I believe)

Baz, when the swelling around your eyes goes down enough to see what you're typing, let us know how that went. "By the way, honey....."

Best defence is a good offence. Tie a bow around the sucker and give her the keys

All good!!
I thought the look she gave me was anger, it turned out to be jealousy!
She's alright with it, she's not so sure of the sequential shift, but once it knocked her backwards into the seat a couple of times, she got the message... it's not for her.
Colour combo is Capri Blue (actually looks deep purple) and charcoal leather.

I've been looking for one of these for a while, style and year. To find one with low miles and a CPO MB warranty sealed the deal.
This really is a well made machine. G Stock, for track days. Mwuhahahahah!

That certified pre-owned deal is the way to go, imo. We have purchased two cars that way and have been very happy. Full warranty, all the goodies, and someone else took the initial hit. Any missing equipment was also replaced - remotes, etc. I highly recommend it.

If you plan on keeping the car for more than a couple of years.
A suggestion. Get a good aftermarket warranty. Something like GE, or Ford ESP, or even GMPP(they do cover MB's). Get one that covers electrical/electronic and rubber.. May seem pricey, but my experience proves it is a worthwhile investment as the rubber(mounts) usually last only about 4 years before they start disintegrating, and if one of the many electronic control units go away, the policy recovers it's cost right there.

Again, accent on GOOD. shop around, for coverage more than price.

Oh boy, a KOMPRESSOR!

Yep, I'd look at an aftermarket extended warrany meself. I have a supercharged MINI S, got the extended warranty with the new car.

It would cost big bucks if that blown engine let loose at about 5K RPM! Sometimes, the extended warranties are worth the price. And, they can really help with resale, too.

Nice car!
