What a beautiful weekend!!!! Saturday started out in the low 70's and ended in the low 80's. Today the high was low 80's! Humidity was low and it was just gorgeous!!! We spent the morning yesterday tilling our garden and picking peas and okra (in August!?!?), a long drive with the top down and passed too many TR's and B's to keep a count! I have never seen a summer like this, rain at least once a week and temperatures in the 80's and low 90's....If this is global climate change I think I'll keep it!
Hope your weather gave y'all some driving time this weekend!
 
Oh NOW you went and did it. You spoke about the weather OUTLOUD. You should to know better by now living in our neck of the woods,"If you don't like the weather, wait an hour."

This is the coldest, wettest, summer on record in southwestern Ontario.
:wall: I have not been able to leave the top down when away from the car. when it does get warm at all, the humidity is unbearable. I'm glad one of us is having an enjoyable summer.

And now for the cliche, "Wait till next year!"

My brother and I got back home Sunday afternoon from a 4 day 1995 mile drive in my TR6 through 6 states including Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The weather was great. I agree with the wish for more of this global warming, I love it.
 
New England has been hit hard with rain as well. This is the first full week without any rain storms, well....so far it is.

I'm thankful that it's August. That means my attitude about this place will slowly improve in a month or so :smile:

End of August, most of September is the best weather here in north AL.
 
September-October was always the best in Virginia. The mung in the air starts to clear out here around mid-October.
 
Late July to mid September is almost enough of a reason to leave Arkansas...usually 98% humidity and temperatures in the 100's. When you walk outside it hits you like you opened an oven and you're not sure whether to inhale or swallow. They are called the "dog days" for a reason!!!
This summer started out looking like one of those. It was in the 100's by the last week of June and then...the rains came in July with temperatures in the 80's. This morning I drove to work and it was 68 degrees ON AUGUST 26!!! Huh? I dropped the top, turned up the tunes and almost drove right past school. It certainly has been a strange summer...but again I'm not complaining!!!!
