how was the carb rebuild? How long did it take? Etc....?

The rebuild is taking longer than it should - ie. it should be done by now. It's not, partly because of the "table incident" (looks great again BTW) Mostly because the rebuild kit from VB did not include any springs. I have five to replace - two on throttle mechanism/ one large one in body/ one smaller one -choke? and one flat steel coil one which was actually broken. (and possibly a reason the car was laid up) I am also polishing the parts as I put it together. I'm intimidated by the process and enjoying it at the same time. At this point I'm frustrated bacause I can't locate the springs and don't feel like ordering them - having moved back to Canada is annoying from a parts point of view. I hoped to find the parts today but got busy with other stuff. I hope to post pics soon. Thanks for asking
