I'm getting better at this and a question.

About an hour and a half.

Engine is free and striped but for transmission bolts.

Question, do I have to remove the tranny mount bolts to get the engine out without the tranny. I forget.

Doing it without the tranny will save a heck of a lot of work.

Wait until you reinstall it to make such a statement. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

If worse comes to worse I can always pull the tranny later and put all back as a unit.

No, Jack, you don't have to pull any of the tranny bolts except the ones holding it to the engine.
I've done them this way, but it's a royal PITA when it comes time to go back together.

Thank you, out it comes in the morning then.

I have done it this way as well and a jack under the tranny helps. I also note that the heater shelf is bent on the front where this has been done before.
