Years ago, I drove the Bejeezus out of an Alfa Graduate. Loved that car! Handles well, very comfortable. It's just the Italians have this thing about canting their steering wheels....
 
Mechanically they were well sorted by '85. EFI, good instrumentation... and if th' rust mites haven't eaten into the structural parts it'd be well worth halting their access to the remaining steel. Body panels are available for the damage below th' waterline.

They are a deceptive ride: feels like you're driving something MUCH bigger and heavier than it is. As long as they're maintained properly they can be totally reliable daily drivers for years. This one had an engine/transmission transplant in Y2K, all I've done since is oil changes and standard PM. Until just recently I drove th' snot outta it. Now I'm "conservative" 'cause gas is an issue. 4K self-imposed rev limit. Gettin' north of 26 MPG with consistency.

You'll love it.
 
It may not be an LBC but way to go!!! Drive it well and often. :banana:
