My interest in British Cars, particularly Roadsters, started when I was in my late teens and purchased my first car - a 1952 MG TD. A fun little car that had all the get up and go of a VW bug of the same era.
After that, and before marriage I had a AH 3000.
But then life happened and fun cars became a luxury and given wife, kids, and dogs mini vans were my transportation. However, now that I am nearly 80 I decided, what the heck, get yourself a toy.So I did and began a body off frame restoration. I finally have it to the point that I wanted to get someone more skilled than myself to check everything I did and fix those things beyond my skill level, like a non working overdrive. The car is a TR6 #CC 26125 LO. And while I have tried to upgrade components I have also tried to keep it as close to original as I could.
I look forward to continuing my education about our cars with your help.
