Thank you, thank you, thank you - I'm feeling quite heady now.

Is that a "pun?"

I thought maybe it was "forgetaboutit", abreaviated poorly.(?)

Thanks Boss.

BTW Agatha and I had a grand time tooling. Met a real "Brit" at the local coffee shop who wanted to see Agatha, all of her. Boot, interior, engine. I said I wasn't about to put her on a lift but he was welcomed to crawl under.. lol He then asked if he could just please please sit in it. I said of course and opened the passenger door whereupon I asked him if he would like to go for a ride. He seemed shocked but finally blurted out "That would be lovely." Took him for a short spin and brought him back to the coffee shop. I felt great as here was a proper grown-up Brit who couldn't get this silly grin off his face. Seems Agatha made him real happy.

You may have brought back some older precious memories there.
You did a nice thing.
Maybe he went " shopping" the next day. :driving:

Similar thing happened to me when I took the ol' Mercedes out for some driving (don't know the German equivalent of "tooling").

Very old gentleman complimented the car. Said it brought back lots of memories.

He had to keep wiping the tears from his small black moustache, which was difficult as his arm kept jerking upward ...
