Since I am new to Brittish lingo I thought I would ask the questions about abbreviations, what do NOS, LBS, IRS and any more all can think about stand for /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

NOS = New Old Stock
LBS = Pounds? Or maybe you mean LBC which = Little British Car
IRS = Independent Rear Suspension
DHC = Drop Head Coupe
FHC = Fixed Head Coupe
RHD = Right Hand Drive
LHD = Left Hand Drive

This post is going down hill fast. I'm outta here.

Having owned one, I thought that stood for "Break My Window".

Was going to start a new thread, but in review it looks like this one is already denegrated to my level.
My Bride and I went to see "Run For Your Wife" last evening. It is a play written by Ray Cooney which was performed by one of our local amatuer theatre groups. It is full of acronyms for adult things which are hilarious in context. Some examples are NWW and CDWBSWMT. It's very British humor which is a seperate appreciation from LBCs.

HEY BAS - HELP!

Regarding your announcement about using asterisks and dashes to circumvent profanity, how about this thread? Kinda hard to clean this one up!
