I am attempting to remove the barrel from a BugEye ignition switch. I haven't yet found the right place to depress the pin on the barrel. Any advice?
 
have you removed the light switch knob?
 
I can't find my spare to review, so this is from memory (and it's been a while since I've done it). I believe it's the hole shown in the pic I've attached. You will need the key to remove it. Is that why you are having the problem?
 
That's where I've been trying to get to the pin on the barrel. Yes,I have the key in it. For whatever reason I can't depress the pin. The only thing depressed is me.
 
I've had on that removed very easily and one that I destroyed taking it off.
