First issue of the year on the 73 well second if you count the burned out tail light. Noticed that the ignition light is not working. Car runs great tach works normally is there anywhere I should look for a fault or do I have to go through the pleasure of changing a bulb? If it is the bulb which type is it? Any running issues to be expected if it is a dead bulb.

Ummm... Bad new is: the charging circuit needs continuity thru that bulb... Good news is: it ain't that hard to change!

...don't wait. You're runnin' on battery voltage only.

eep. Yup.

New alternator installed light now works as it should and the battery is getting charged. Now if it would only warm up.

THAT, dear sir, is out of our bailiwick.

Do me a favor pump out as much green house gasses as you can. It's pretty bad when you can change out an alternator in less than 30 minutes in a 12 degree garage.

I'll lay in a supply of cabbage ASAP, Stew...

Not sure eating two pounds a day will be of any help "Up There" tho....

just make sure its raw cabbage
