TR2/3/3A If you read the thread on the super K.Davis TR3,

from a few days back, that was certainly the 'good' from that Hemmings issue. The 'bad/ugly' was shown a few pages earlier as I recently found out in the story on the last SCCA runoff held at Daytona in 1969. As it turns out the TR3 with the #72 on the third page of the article is TS8651 which has been sucking up space in my garage for the last 40+ years. (Photobucket doesn't seem to like my cropped scan of the magazine's photo.) The photographer describes ol' #72 as primitive and crude. Well kinda....but was it ever well sorted out!

I read that article, the TR3 looked in good form! Still have those Silverstones on it?
 
I don't believe its online, only in the magazine unfortunately.

In today's hypersensitive, touchy feely country, we TR3 owners could sue for hurting our feelings!
(& I would use the big bucks award to buy a less primitive & less crude TR250, with supercharger)
