If you have a Volvo 240 wagon...

HO HO, Ray, just got to love that. Good on him.

I have a neighbor with one. Has outlasted family and two teanagers so far.

I have a 240 wagon with 190,000. I trailered my BE tub to the stripper. If I had only known....

looks more like a 140 to me, still doable with a 240 though

Howdy Ray,

Does this mean Your "Looking" for one or You "Have One"?

Russ

I keep looking at this as a way to make a fun BE hauler
Volvo V8

You Scandinavian guys are dead on. That is a 140 rather than a 240. My bad. 140s are rather rare on this side of the pond. I've owned at least four 240s. Still own one.

Russ

Had a tub, now restored and soon to be revealed as the new Whitephrog. I have access to another tub that needs full restoration. Haven't convinced the boss that it needs to come home with me yet, especially since I have a 66 Sprite project in the garage

My brother had a 140 and we used it to tow his Elva Courrier from Boston to Watkins Glenn for the New England Region Autocross Divisionals, back around 1979 or so. He used the foot to the floor method to get there. You had to build up speed going down hill to have enough momentum to get up the next hill. But we made it there and back again.

Had a 240. Gave it to the young guy who worked at my son's day care. New ford or chevy truck ran into to him and his baby. He was rear ended on a down hill less than 1 mile from the day care. He drove home. The truck was towed. Nice. I now drive an 850 unless it's my wife's AH Sprite..
