If working on MG's were reality based TV shows....

Then I "appeared" on two last night:

"This American's Got Talent" and "Dancing With Little Britsh Cars"

My "dances" were the Bellhousing Ballet and the Starter Samba. I, along with my helpers "Me" and "Myself", got the engine back in the B, slipped onto the input shaft and snugged up to the tranny. I also got the starter into position; that bugger doesn't want to come out unaided when the engine is bolted down! LoL

Now I just have to put all the various bolts and such back - in the right places - without ending up with left-overs!!

If you don't have extra bits left over after finishing you're not doing it right.

amen to that - I restored mine at least three times at once, with the added bonus that if you take something (like a carb) apart and reassemble enough times, eventually you end up with two.

That falls in the same category as "There's never enough time to do it right the first time, but there's always enough time to do it twice."

true though honestly, mine tends to fall into the category of "It takes me two or three times to get it right."
