Is there a glossary with that,Mickey? :jester:
I understood about three of them, including Jahweh.

Stuart.

Stuart, you and I are in the same boat - Luddites, the both of us!

But, if you put the 10 Commandments side by side with the above, squint your eyes a bit, it'll come into focus.

I especially liked #7 and #4 (the Saturday for now and Sunday later part).

srsly (Seriously)

I disagree. Any way that takes longer to impart less information is a step backwards in my opinion. It's a phone fer cryin' out loud! Just call.

I think the commandments are a perfect example.

:iagree:

I've found that with e-mail too, perhaps even moreso.

A simple two minute call can cover a "conversation" that'd take half a day and dozens of emails bouncing back and forth.

Technological progress? :wall:

Sure, but it can be grossly misused.

And all the animals on Noah's Ark came in two's except for the worms.... they came in pears.

You've clearly not been on the phone with some of my relatives (names witheld to protect myself)... sometimes a quick text message "be home at 5" is much faster than a phone call on being home at 5, what I wish for dinner, that I need to remember to water the flowers, and if I could pick up a movie on the way home, and that our neighbor is playing basketball again.

Well I find ending a phone conversation quite easy. I say I gotta go, if that doesn't work, I'm not above pushing the hangup button.

Mobile phones are great too... "lost" signals whenever you want.... :yesnod:  :jester:

Not to mention that I seldom turn mine on, either.

If you do "lose" a signal, make sure you lose it in the middle of your sentence...makes it much more believable.
